Church Ministries

We know that the Love of Jesus is needed all around the world. The following provides information on a few of the missions across America and around the world that we support.

Chris Bowers spoke at our church in early 2005, and is currently serving the Lord in Paupa New Guinea. Stay up to date with how God is using Chris by reading his newsletter.

The Mission of World Relief, as originated within the National Association of Evangelicals, is to work with, for and from the Church to relieve human suffering, poverty and hunger worldwide in the name of Jesus Christ.

Wycliffe International's work is to facilitate the translation of God's Word into every language that needs it. Wycliffe has organizations in nearly forty countries and has had a part in translating over 500 New Testaments into minority and indigenous languages. Fifteen hundred more translation projects representing over 70 countries, are in progress.

The mission of the Evangelical Congregational Church Global Ministries Commission, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, is to proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to those who have not heard in their own language and to nurture believers in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Africa Inland Mission (AIM) is a nondenominational Christian missionary sending agency serving primarily in Africa and the islands of the Indian Ocean. AIM was founded in 1895 and currently has more than 850 missionaries.

Quite simply, the purpose of YouthWorks is to provide life-changing, Christ-centered youth mission opportunities. This is our reason for being. We create extraordinarily fun and significant mission adventures, targeted to the needs and capabilities of youth, ages 12-19. By crossing borders of race and culture, and by placing students outside their comfort zones, we find something wonderful happens: God gets their attention! Without the distractions of everyday life, God uses YouthWorks to work in the lives of thousands of teenagers. By attempting to be faithful to our purpose, we find God is also at work in each of the communities we serve. Yea God!
