Building Project

God has called us to reach our "corner of the world" for Christ. Statistics reveal that people usually come to Christ over bridges of friendship. 80% of the time a trusted friend helps a seeker (someone who is searching for God) ease into a church and learn about Christ. The proposed facility will make it easier for people to ease into our church and find Jesus.

The proposed facility will be a place where our families can gather together to enjoy life, and it will be a place where we can reach out to our neighbors and friends. Not everyone will benefit from every part of the proposed facility, but everyone will benefit from it in some way.

The kitchen and dining area will allow us to gather together for congregational and community meals, and provide opportunities for fellowship with both our church family and our unchurched neighbors and friends.

The multi-purpose room will enable us to have sporting activities, health and fitness programs, worship and praise events, concerts, conferences, exhibits, etc. The possibilities are endless, and once again, both our church family and our neighborhood will benefit.

Additional classrooms will give us space we need to conduct our growing Christian education ministry and also enable us to have a Christian pre-school.

A youth room will give our young people and their unchurched friends a place to hang out and be cool.

Think about your neighbor who will ease into our church by coming to a spaghetti supper. Think about your co-worker who will ease into our church by playing basketball on a Tuesday night. Think about your friend who will ease into our church by coming to aerobics class on Monday night. Think about the family in your development who will ease into our church by attending parents of preschoolers meetings. Think about your son's best friend who will ease into our church by playing ping pong in the youth room on Saturday night.

In the end, the proposed facility is not about putting up another building; it's about people. It's about giving us a place to do the work of the Lord. It's about helping us engage into the disciple-making process in new and creative ways, and the possibilities are endless.

Together we can make it happen. Teamwork makes the dream work!
